Alan C. Moss, MD, FACG, is the Director of the Crohn's & Colitis Program at Boston Medical Center, and Professor of Medicine at Boston University. He is a clinician-investigator in IBD, and has published over 150 papers in this field. His research has an h-index of 30, having been cited over 2,500 times in the literature. Dr Moss's research interests include microbial therapeutics, immunogenicity, histological indices and vitamin D in IBD. This research has been funded by NIDDK, AGA and the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. He is a member of the Professional Education Committee of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, where he led the development of a Health Maintenance Checklist for IBD providers.
